​2025-2026 Flu Season

It's that time again!
The 2025-2026 flu season in the U.S. is expected to use a trivalent vaccine (three components)

Activity typically peaks between December and February, though it can last at late as May.

CDC Recommendations:

Annual flu vaccination for all individuals aged six months and older. ​For 2025-2026 season, single-dose formulation without thimerosal are recommended for specific populations like children, pregnant women and adults.

Timing:

Flu activity usually starts in October and can last through May. The peak of the season is typically between December and February, but can last through May.

Health care providers can recommend antiviral drugs for patients with suspected or confirmed influenz

​What to do:

Consult your primary phyican or pharmacist

Get vaccinated for the 2025-2026 season to protect yourself and others.

If you or your child has severe symptoms like difficulty breathing, severe fatigue, or dehydraytion, seek medical care immediatly.

(1) Communicate the importance and benefits of regular handwashing to all staff members.
(2) Wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer with at least 70% Alcohol in it.
(3) Clean and disinfect all contact surfaces, before and after use.
(4) Stay up to date on vaccinations and boosters.
